D&D (2024) New leak looks real bad

I crit!
Lot of problems.

At one point he states that the new leak only has one source.

The then gets updates on stream about the image, it is indeed fake, and agrees.

But the numbers are supposed to be real.

I dunno about this one.

However the REAL news in the video is how long ago they claim this was in the works.

My point is, you can do it virtually for FREE.
My point is, if someone thinks it's worth $30 bucks/month, then it is. If enough people think it's worth $30/month to make it profitable, then WotC obviously knew what they were doing. If it fails, then they screwed up.

Casting aspersions on what other people choose to do with their money ("suckers"), especially when we have no idea if this is even real or what would be offered is not cool, IMO. Who are we to judge what other folks do with their (presumably) hard-earned cash? I spend a lot more than $30/month on miniatures and terrain. A $500 box of Dwarven Forge was dropped off at my door last Thursday. Am I a "sucker"?

A ridiculous plan being in the works a very long time actually makes sense, since it means it predates both the third party publishers and the general public pushing back on it, so it's just executives blue-sky fantasizing and winding themselves up with increasingly silly ideas.

Lord knows I see that kind of nonsense happening with the top folks sometimes where I work.

Growing “Where we go one we go all” vibes in this whole “new leak”.
