I'm most interested in Planescape. I get the concern over format, but Planescape won't have pages and pages of (admittedly cool) ships.

But all of these releases sound fun. Seems like lots of adventure material, which I use even if I don't run the adventure itself - traps, puzzles and maps are always useful.

It's a pretty solid slate of books, covering a lot of ground.
Planescape is starting to pull away from the pack a bit.

I voted Planescape, as I've been running a continuous Planescape campaign since the days of 4th edition, but at this point (with the thin Spelljammer book format and everything happening at corporate heaven) let's call it morbid interest. I do collect miniatures, however, so if there's a cool Lady of Pain mini I'll probably have a moment of weakness...

A set of Planescape minis is probably the thing I’m most excited for this year.

The Cleric of Fate Domain and the Cartomancy Feat (which was our first hint of the new Class Groups) from the UA seems likely, as are the Feats and Spells. Hard to tell what was what, since they mixed Giant, Planescape and Deck of Many Things material in n one drop.
With the benefit of hindsight, it's not to difficult to figure out what goes with each book.

Glitchling - Planescape

Fate Domain Cleric - Deck
Runecrafter Wizard - Giant
Primeval Druid - Giant

gate warden - Planescape
giant foundling - Giant
planar philosopher - Planescape
rune carver - Giant

Rune Carver Apprentice - Giant
Scion of Elemental Air - Planescape
Scion of Elemental Earth - Planescape
Scion of Elemental Fire - Planescape
Scion of Elemental Water - Planescape
Scion of the Outer Planes - Planescape
Strike of the Giants - Giant
Agent of Order - Planescape
Baleful Scion - Planescape
Cartomancer - Deck
Cohort of Chaos - Planescape
Ember of the Fire Giant - Giant
Fury of the Frost Giant - Giant
Guile of the Cloud Giant - Giant
Keenness of the Stone Giant - Giant
Outlands Envoy - Planescape
Planar Wanderer - Planescape
Righteous Heritor - Planescape
Rune Carver Adept - Giant
Soul of the Storm Giant - Giant
Vigor of the Hill Giant - Giant

Spells - all from Deck. I think it's the only one that will feature new spells.

Seems about right, I was going off of memory.

Let's see-

Almost Certainly Getting
Planescape - I mean... it's Planescape. I don't have a really great feeling that this will be what I want, but I can't imagine not getting this.

Maybe Getting
The Book of Many Things - I love the Deck of Many Things. I still remember, decades upon decades ago, my first encounter with one. But ... I'll have to see what people say about this.

Phandelver Campaign - On the one hand, I generally run my own things. On the other hand, LMoP remains a classic 5e adventure. So this is a, "See the reviews," purchase.

Definitely Not Getting
Glory of the Giants - I could not be less interested in a topic.

??????
Keys from the Golden Vault - Not a clue. Not on my radar.

Planescape was always my second prefered Campaign Setting from the old 2e (Birthright being the first one). I will take this one for sure, but I would like it contains options to game BEFORE the Factol Wars. That ruined the setting for me. Fifteen factions ruling* Sygil was the big point of most campaings I played and DM'ed.

*Ok, the Lady rule Sygil, but when she does not show up, Factions keep everything working (more or less)

I clicked on Book of Many Things just to have marked in on the poll as there was no "None of the Above" option; should this be a new thread?
  • Keys from the Golden Vault should be up my street as it's heist-themed. But when Dragon Heist had no dragons and no heist and I already have enough adventures and write my own it's not a trivial sell. It comes out in under a month and has limited buzz - and is coming out here in the UK a month late so by the time I can get it it will be old news (which is annoying)
  • Glory of the Giants - don't care.
  • Book of Many Things - might be in line with Xanathar's/Tasha's in which case I'm interested. But the Deck is one of the more campaign breaking artifacts out there. With luck it will be all the most interesting stuff that some will dislike so they'd never put in a core book but think it should be some, produced just before the next edition
  • Phandelver Campaign - it's a setting and offering me little that I've seen and Phandelver's never grabbed me.
  • Planescape - three 64 page books in a post-Faction War setting? In the Spelljammer format after that disappointment? I'd rather make Planescape up out of whole cloth. And Planescape wants something beefy; it's an intricate setting.
So that's two maybes at best. WotC could wow me, but I've ducked most of their adventures anyway.
