I attribute it to the Learn to Play event. We didn't have a lot of takers to actually play but we had a dump truck of people buying PHB's at the store over the day. I talked to a few and A LOT of them were "I always wanted to try it".

One gentleman came and watch the game for a few minutes. We laughed and hollard a good time. I heard him say "Well that does it" and he bought a PHB and asked when the next game night was.

Just for record keeping.

PHB at #88 at $27 at Amazon US.

It's difficult to compare. I think it's doing extremely well, it's not in books. And the essentials kit is on sale for $19 at Amazon right now. And the original Starter set is still available though I think in small batches.

Note the Essentials kit on sale at $19 on Amazon is 538 out of all other books on Amazon US. Which i think is better than all other RPG core books that are not D&D, COMBINED.

Starter set.

Dragon Heist is the 8th best selling D&D book and only other adventure after the Essentials Kit at #7. Well. No wonder Beadle & Grim are going to re release that box.
It's on super sale, too, which helps.

As a straight through campaign, it's messy, but it's a great toolbox of urban NPCs, situations and locations

Help!

I post this request here because I think it's likely more of this threads readers will know.

Somewhere there is a thread were a Drive Thru vendor noticed his sales entries had a sequential id attached to them, and discovered that number was univiseral to all of drive thru. Then he tried to figure out sales from that.

Anyone have that thread handy? I've tried looking for it.
