D&D General Kobold Press Going Down a Dark Road

Eh I mostly liked them, and I was around the same age. Kids younger than us? Man, they lose that stuff.

I used to wish they’d just redo Jar Jar’s scenes and make him less slapstick, but knowing how hard the fandom was on the actor and how it hit him, nah. Screw that. No changes.

It’s cool as hell to see HC back doing Star Wars, too. I kinda wish they’d had him in the sequel trilogy talking to Luke, tbh.
I didn't hate them, but they were under par compared to the 90's Star Wars novels. And...that wasn't a high bar for me.

I can. If they're trying to push a narrative to explain the changes that they are making, setting up numbers to support that narrative helps them out.
...?

WotC bends over backwards to include references and callbacks to old stuff, so I'm not sure what they could that is different from what you seem to be thinking they should do: they are servicing their target demographic while including stuff for older gamers like themselves. What specific do you think they could be doing differently in that direction...?

Nothing bizarre about it. It's an untrustworthy company that is doing all it can to shift directions for the product. 🤷‍♂️
...?

How? I genuinely gave no idea at this point what you think WotC is doing, or whybtheybwould lie about having a younger fanbase than you think they should...?

I don't get when people do things like that. Personally I couldn't stand Jar-Jar, but it's not the actor's fault that the character was written that way. Why give the actor grief? :(

I disagree, but not hard enough to worry about it.

Yeah, I don't either, but sadly the SW fandom is kinda famous for it at this point.
