D&D (2024) Unearthed Arcana Playtest Packet 6 Video

I understand why people were disappointed with the epic boon feats; especially the ones introduced in the first few packets. But it was due to them not being epic/capstone enough, not due to class identity.
Also, why can we just get a class capstone and an epic boon feat at 20th level. It's not like most people are going to get there in the first place.

Why is so much of this thread devoted to the Exhaustion discussion which is not a change related to this announcement at all?
People are using it as an emblem of "change I liked that theybare walking back."

Personally, I didn't care for the proposed revision to exhaustion (way more bad vines than the 2014 rule), but I get their point. I don't think that invalidates the playtest methodology at all, as ot every change is better just because it's a change.

Agreed; my problem with epic boons wasn’t the concept, it was that they weren’t very epic.
I did not like, that it was not related to class identity. And something that you got again at (pseudo) level 21, 22 and so on.
Maybe making epic boons level 19 feats, or even lvl 16 feats would be great.

I'd also hope, that the retain the stat bump on class level 20 as standard.
