The newer BSG was very, very good - For the first couple of seasons. Then it lost its way a bit, and then, the ending was the worst ending to a TV show ever, IMO. So bad that I will never rewatch the show no matter how much I enjoyed the first part. It was just terrible.
Yeah. I keep wanting to re-watch it, and then I remember the ending. I think the How I Met Your Mother ending was worse, but the new BSG ending was pretty terrible.

Unpopular opinion, especially here in the Pacific Northwest:

Summer is the worst season, and it's not even close.

Keep your wildfires, allergy attacks, sunburns, mosquitoes, crowded beaches, dust, fireworks at all hours, crowded highways, heat waves, crowded trails, and poison ivy. Give me back those quiet rainy mornings, fuzzy scarves, crackling fireplaces, fresh apples, cozy sweaters, empty sidewalks, and pumpkin-spiced everything.

I've said before that, generally speaking, the West is hated by Fire and Earth and the East by Air and Water.

Yeah I'm kind of amazed that I finished Breath of The Wild. I never complete open world games. I find them impossibly tedious after a while. But BOTW I had no problem going back to the main quest when wandering and such got boring, or teleporting around Hyrule to fight Guardians and take their parts or whatever when the main quest wasn't doing it for me.

It should be noted that I can't get through CRPGs at all any more. I figured that out when I stalled out on Wasteland 2.

Out of everything ever posted on this forum, this may be the most personally offensive thing I've ever read. 😜😝🙃

This is exactly why I live in one of the same counties as Puget Sound, rather than Southern California where I grew up. I get intermittently homesick for particular features (Vroman’s Books, the Huntington, Santa Barbara beach, etc), but no nostalgia for the place overall even with the radical improvement in air quality since the 1980s. I really, really like the rain and the cool and everything.

Man, do I feel you there. I've lived here all my life and I'm distinctly a city boy, but the heat and dryness has never been something I'm a fan of, even as I'm hitting my late 60's.

Unpopular opinion: Diablo IV isn't the steaming pile so many make it out to be. Sure it has it's issues and growing pains, but it's fun at the core and will get better season by season.
