Look forward to another 5000, at least. And we've been working to end those for the last 5000 years too.
It's in the Planescape thread, the Spelljammer thread, the Giants book thread.....every thread. The threads about the UA tests, about the 2024 books......'Every thread', like this... thread that is explicitly about their business plan and practice?
nope played it for 30 hours uninstalled and got my money back.I ask again, if everyone is still working there, and everyone has the same title, and the output of the business appears to be the same as before, did a tree fall in the forest?
Spoken like someone who hasn't played BG3 - reinstall it and get playing Mr "I played it Early Access, I swear I did!".
in fact Disney is trying to dump some things now and discovering it's not a good time.Disney is not going to buy everything.
Why is this joke being treated as an inevitability?

And this is where it can get kind of fuzzy because intent matters and being a bad product doesn't automatically make something a cash grab. Then again I can't exactly use my crystal ball to peer in the hearts of publishers to see if they even care about putting out a decent product. I think you make an excellent argument in your favor. I don't have an opinion of Unearthed Arcana because the passage of time has rendered memories of 1st edition AD&D to broad strokes rather than specific problems. I still hate the Bladesinger kit though. (Hell, the Bladesinger kit was from 2nd edition! See how fuzzy memories can get?)This is a fair point. I think people are using the term in different senses. By your definition, for example, the original Unearthed Arcana was almost indisputably a cash grab. It's a bunch of Dragon Magazine articles and some new classes, rules, and spells that were barely or not at all playtested and of dubious balance (like the absurdly powerful Cavalier and Barbarian, or the practically-worthless Thief-Acrobat) and was rushed to production to give the company a desperately-needed cash infusion.
Not for my Reaping business. And, baby, business is booming!death and aging are also underlying systemic problems
Nah, I deleted my tweet before their Board saw.And Disney might get bought out
