While examining Shouzas, Featar came to rest on Phar's shoulder.
"Excellent work Featar."
Walking back to the eggs, Phar answers the question put to him,
"Shouzas has a strange glyph on its back. Maybe a curse but not one put there by the Nightshade. I was working on a spell called Analyze Dweomer. I regret not dedicating more time to it but I know the focus is quite expensive and we don't have the means to make it. Anyways,
"Banishing them is not within my power and would take days. If we destroy them, the eggs will fill the whole area with acid - all these rooms. If we use fire, the whole hatchery will explode with fire and acid, possibly bringing this building down. I could surround the area with a Wall of Force before we destroy them to try to keep the damage contained. Or, I could summon some dretches - which have resistance to acid - to move them. But the spell only lasts a minute and I am loath to summon such creatures to this plane, even temporarily.
As long as we don't destroy them, anyone who can withstand the acidic atmosphere around them should be fine."
Caerth listens intently to Phar talk about the glyph on the scorpion and the risks of destroying the eggs. When Phar mentions the idea of dretches, he glares at Phar and then walks up to him and pokes the elf in the chest.
"No demons!"
Aureus shakes her head.
"I agree. That is not something we should meddle with."
Angus seems uncertain of what course of action should be taken. But he does agree that the eggs need to be destroyed.
Angus says, "My first instinct is fire. But we would need to be at a good distance. I'm not sure of the particulars, but if the vapors make the area unpassable for a few days, I have no objection. When these things hatch, they will wreak havoc upon this whole region. We CANNOT allow that to happen!"
"Fire is still a good option, but we'll have to move them first," Aureus says.
"If Litrix can move them..." she pauses.
"Wait, what is that smell?" She takes a few steps south towards the broken table wedged into the rooms crumbling doorway.
"Oh, that smell," she looks back at the others.
"Ghasts."
Maur strokes his beard pondering.
"Why not just move them and destroy them in the empty patch outside of this area. I can temporarily consecrate it. Or we can risk waiting until morning and I can douse them in the holy rain again. Move them outside into the desert and we can explode them even. If Litrix is resistant enough as he says, he can move them without us worrying about protective dweomers. Or demons."
Divine champion glares at the wizard.
He is focused on the discussion and the helm still firmly on his head after the combat is dampening surrounding sounds.
While Maur doesn't hear anything, he gets a whiff of what Aureus smells. The smell is ingrained in his memory from the battle in the cave against Tarrak's horde. There are ghasts nearby. He isn't surprised. Undead are drawn to nightshades. They often act as guardians for the extraplanar spiders.

"Also, I remember that we now have this wand of light. I will cast light on a rock and we can drop it into the grate"
He pulls out the wand and casts light on a piece of rubble before using Mage Hand to lower it into the grate.
Phar watches the rubble disappear under the grate. He can see that the grate leads into some sort of drainage system, which has become choked with slime, weeds, spider droppings, and small bits of debris that has fallen through the grate. The grate itself is surprisingly intact. It would considerable strength to pry the grate up.
Then, Phar hears a noise and smells a stench that is different than the smell coming from the eggs. The noise coming from the southeastern part of the ruins. It sounds like something is moving somewhere in the dark. It is very faint. The smell is definitely that of a ghast... and, something else. He's not sure, as the two scents seam to be mixed. Both together make the smell as bad as the eggs.
"I can take them out, no problem."
Litrix looks at the eggs
"Actually, I might need to try and lift one if they are not firm, then it is a problem."
He approaches and tries one of the eggs
"Gods! That's foul!"
He doesn't know anything special about the spider-thing, but turning his head this way and that away from the smell accidentally gives him good spatial awareness.
Litrix finds that the egg is quite sturdy. Yet, the egg smells putrid and feels slimy. The egg nearly slips out of his grip. He doesn't hear what Phar hears, and his proximity to the eggs keeps him from smelling anything other than the egg in his grip.
Aureus makes sure her blade is sheathed and her bow is at the ready.
"Why did have to be more ghasts?"
