It has a free quickstart that is very complete. Worth looking at.
Perhaps I'll check it out. I'd like to know what "modern sensibilities" means in this context. That phrase is something of a trigger for me these days, as it often reads like, "the things you like suck and should be replaced, and you are bad for liking them".
 




That reminds me of another unpopular opinion I can share.

The real divide in D&D fandom isn't Grognard vs Newb or old-school vs post-secondary or Roll v Role or realism vs balance.

The real divide is that some of use love the game in spite of its flaws, and some of us love it for its flaws. 🤷
