In the linked interview, Macris cites gay marriage as an issue conservatives lost ground on thanks to the Overton Window shifting, in the context of discussing his efforts to work to shift the Overton Window in the opposite direction. Is working actively to repress the rights of innocent people not "doing anything"?

I took that to mean LIKE the gay marriage issue, conservatives could use the same strategy for OTHER conservative policies?

That would make more sense right since Milo had a same-sex wedding?

Man, I would love it if I could just talk about games all day. Unfortunately somebody decided to make my identity one of the foundational points of their culture war, so I gotta take at least some time to deal with that, so I don't ultimately, you know, get my healthcare and child taken away from me.

I see this is a hot button topic for you, but perhaps it would be better to discuss it elsewhere. In the meantime, I have asked if I can repost the author's explanation of the situation, so we'll just have to see.

Not just on par; he actively works with at least one of them (Vox Day). He had Day contribute an "anti-SJW" class to one of his books. He also advocated for throwing liberals out of helicopters a la Pinochet, which is a popular meme on the alt-right, as part of a larger article he wrote advocating for Trump to use violent means to seize control of the US government.

On top of that, ACKS is not even particularly good. If you're looking for an OSR fantasy game, I'd recommend Worlds Without Number or OSE. They do everything ACKS does without the evil.

This sort of dismissive reply fundamentally misunderstands the nature of the disagreement. Macris is and has actively called for the murder of people he does not like. That's not a "hot button topic." It's a threat.
