ability scores for ability checks.

rest is replaced by proficiency bonus, and since it's from +2 to +6 it will not change much or anything at all.

I do using prof bonus for attacks, damage and save DCs, ability scores for saves and skills. Works fine.

Dwarfs get temmorsense proficiency (i assume) times per day, and 120' darkvision.

I'm not against darkvision, but I was hoping to reduce it a little, maybe 40/80 instead of 60/120

But then you might as well not calculate the bonus because the bonus is so low. It's extra math for no real extra. Brainpower used for nothing. Time spent for little effect.

Might as well just have +0 vs AC6.

That by my reckoning is a 75% chance to hit and in my experience not really an issue.
