Ok. That sounds contradictory. But I take you at your word.I said I like and use digital tools in the post you quoted, so no, I don't want it to stay as it is. I also don't want to lose what we have.

And? This is the harbinger of the capitalist end-times, a bonus of dubious value for preordering a book?no one said it is the only reason to buy the book, but it can be an incentive to preorder it...
Dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria! And? This is the harbinger of the capitalist end-times, a bonus of dubious value for preordering a book?
Arguably, for people with poor impulse control it is. But that also leads to a question of how much a company can be held accountable for the actions of it's customers. It's easy to point at fomo and loot boxes as abusing people's capability to gamble, but when someone mortgages their house to support their Funko Pop habit, that can't be as easily laid at the feet of the company. And? And I'm sure the art book will be available elsewhere if someone wants it. For what price ofc, that's TBD.I admit the art book on dragons has made me think about get the digital/ physical bundle. I'm committed to getting the physical books from a FLGS though.
Do you really think I somehow missed that? The question I keep asking is what, specifically, about it is so disturbing? It took over 270 posts to this thread before two posters (@Scribe and @OB1) finally provided answers. And those, frankly, made no sense: one complaint was far past its freshness date, and the other was about something nonexistent.Do you not see the chart in the first post and which I referred to in mine?

You've posted several times in apparent agreement with the proposition that the image in the first post presents something objectionable, so I'll ask you to be specific: What is the problem?
This isn't about the VTT (about which none of us has sufficient knowledge yet, anyway), it's about presale book bundles. Unless the problem, which no one has stated in well over 300 posts despite being asked repeatedly to specify their concerns, is the presence of a bonus VTT miniature in one of the bundles. Is that what it is? Because if so, we could have a discussion about it, instead of having wasting our time trying to figure out what the concern is in the first place. There hasn't been a digital component that WotC clearly are spending major money on like the VTT. The 3D VTT has likely been in development for years with a bunch of highly paid programmers and graphics artists and will need continued development when new books and modules release. WotC are going to expect major financial returns and squeeze people for as much money as they can with it.
I've been wondering if you're being disingenuous in your line of questioning.Do you really think I somehow missed that?
Probably either someone you've blocked, or someone who's blocked you and set it so people they block can't see their posts, because some weirdos these days think "I want everyone on the Internet to see my posts... except Bob, because bleep Bob" is a wish that won't get them laughed out of the room, I don't get it either.Who are you talking to?
