D&D (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Sorcerer"

The humans I have:

Champion Fighter
Psi Warrior Fighter
Berserker Barbarian
Devotion Paladin
Thief Rogue
Great Old One Warlock
Iconic Druid
Hunter Ranger
Mercy Monk
Dragon Sorcerer

Not yet counting Dance Bard. My numbers are only officially revealed from the videos pieces.
Cross-poatwd, lol, forgot to add th Hunter and Dragon Sorcerer.

Don't think the Mercy Monk is Human, but super hard to tell without confirmation.

GOO and Psi Warrior I am increasingly certain are not Human, particularly the Psi Warrior.

Glamor Bard
Stars Druid
Eldritch Knight Fighter
Main Ranger
Oath of the Ancients Paladin
Main Sorcerer
Fey Warlock
Evoker Wizard

Maaaaaybe Mercy Monk
World Tree Barbarian is an Elf. My numbers again aren’t counting the Bard or Cleric stuff yet.

And Mercy Monk definitely isn’t an Elf. No point to the ears. Human is what I put them as, only other option is Aasimar to me.

And I can be convinced Psi Warrior is Goliath but I don’t think GOO is. Psi Warrior has body markings that aren’t dissimilar to Goliath, but nothing like that in GOO and Goliaths have skin colors typical of their giant lineage. Both those pieces are human colored, which would be two Hill Goliath. I don’t think they’d double up like that when other options still exist.

The majority of posts on this thread is about accounting the art. Sounds about right ROFL. There just... isn't much to talk about. They were vry vague on everything about the sorcerer, really only gave a single new ability, and that's it.

I will say, watched Treantmonk's video, and he said that there were a few other things they didn't talk about, and particularly, there were some nerfs to the Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul, but he did feel that all four of the subclasses were fairly well-balanced against each other.

My guess is they can’t change their subclass list spells anymore. IIRC the original PHB reveal video shows a blurred look at the Aberrant Mind and I don’t think the changing spells clause is there anymore.

The discussion for this class really hinges on the Meta Magic options. When that video drops, then there will be discussion.

I mean, we see the UA. As a Sorcerer player, I am excited.
