D&D (2024) Should 2014 Half Elves and Half Orcs be added to the 2025 SRD?

Just a thought, but given they are still legal & from a PHB, but not in the 2024 PHB, should they s

I don’t see why it would need to. They’re in the SRD 5.1, which is still available to use, right? And they’re in the Creative Commons now. If they aren’t in the revised rulebooks, why would they be in the system reference document for the revised rules? It’s sufficient that the revised rules say any content not replaced in the revisions is still usable alongside the stuff that was replaced in the revisions.

Having only Elf and Orc be "half" isnt worth it.

There needs to be a more inclusive approach.

Picking one parent for the mechanics works well enough.

I hope there are ways in the future to mix-and-match mechanics between any species.

Having a "Half-Elf" with stats that disresembled both parentages was annoying anyway.

From what I understand you can still play a Half Elf by taking the Elf ancestry. I'd prefer to have Half Elves and Half Orcs but I can understand why they aren't there.

I think @Blue has the right of it. Even though I want to keep using half-elves and half-orcs, since it's a reference for the 2024 rules and they aren't included in these rules the SRD shouldn't include them. Also, as others have said, there is still the SRD for the 2014 rules which people can access for this information.

Oh yes, please keep using them. I intend do, though I want to see the 2024 ones to see if they need any mechanical tweaks to fit. They just don't belong in a reference document that doesn't contain them.
