I'd really love a gritty -- but not necessarily grimdark, which isn't really a flavor WotC pushes for its D&D properties -- series that basically tells Conan-style tales, but in a D&D universe.

I love winged cats and flying cities as much as anyone, but sometimes, I just want a goliath, a greatsword and hungry owlbear.
Thing about Conan and sword and sorcery is it's very fighter-focused. A lot of D&D is based around magical classes and the worlds tend to be more high-magic.

But it's also a world with barbarians, fighters, rangers and rogues, for whom magic is secondary.

D&D comics -- IMO -- have too often turned into magic laser beams coming out of the hands of characters, at the expense of a feeling of adventure. ("Don't worry, Greezmob will fire a green beam that doesn't exactly correspond to a PHB spell and solve the problem one page before the end of this issue!")

It would be great, but probably unlikely, for a D&D comic to make the magical characters a supporting cast, rather than the focus.
