Even 1, at 43% are 'little to no' meaning 57% are impacted at a minimum so...
I’m pretty sure when it comes to polling favorability for a proposition. 8-10 is seen as advocation, 6-7 is pretty ambivalent and 1-5 is pretty dismissive.

A more balanced alternative analysis I’ve seen is 4 to 5 as agreement and strong agreement. With 1 and 2 as strong disagreement and disagreement. 3 being unable to decide either way. Don’t forget that also Includes my score of 4, because yes WotC does influence how I feel, but positively because I think they release great products.

Post after post has corroborated the scores to say it doesn’t matter much at all to most people about how the feel about D&D in case we weren’t sure about the scoring. 75% don’t feel strongly which combined with anecdotal posts is comforting to me. There was no score lower than 1 to chose else I think the averages would be even lower.

My criticisms of 5e are mostly lore-based (I feel they've gutted it) with a side of too many gamist leanings. I'm not buying 5.5 because they decided to double-down on the playstyle and design choices I already didn't care for, and because I have a (IMO) superior 5e alternative in Level Up.
Lore is a double-edged sword. It can be very informative, and it can be a straightjacket.

I don't need as much lore in the core player's handbook. I need rules, with just enough lore inspiration to give me a vibe.

I want more lore in a campaign book. But I don't want a full history book. I want enough to know general information about locations, essentially how they feel and where the areas of peace and conflict are, and where the adventures might take place.

For the Greyhawk campaign in the DMG, I don't expect too much when it comes to lore. But I'm interested in the lore changes they do make.

🤷 You could start with the most positive thread in the world and there's still be folks who treat it as their personal toilet. You can't control for people wanting to vent their negativity on the Internet. I choose instead to focus on the posts that actually discuss.
Oh I know. Just making light of things.

Just a perfect thread
it won't jump the shark
and then later
if comments get dark we go home

Just a perfect thread
don't feed the trolls any food
and then if people get real rude
we go home

Oh it's such a perfect thread
I'm glad I spent it with you
oh such a perfect thread ...
it just keeps me writin' on
it just keeps me writin' on

just a perfect thread

Happy comments all night long
it's such fun
just a perfect thread
you make me forget myself
I thought I was someone else
someone good

Also I left the poll purposefully vague because the real point was to inspire discussion!

the OP still provided a rating system that is different from 1 = strong disagree to 5 = strong agree, so if that is the label someone now wants to apply, in contradiction to the one used to poll, then whatever conclusions gets drawn from it will be nonsense.

That has nothing to do with whether you wanted to inspire discussion or not.

The below is what can happen due to it being open.

That is different from misrepresenting every option
