2024 D&D Character Sheets Available to Download

The newly designed character sheets for Dungeons & Dragons are now available on D&D Beyond's website. The new sheets were created for use with the new 2024 revised 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons and were released as part of the early release launch of the 2024 Player's Handbook on D&D Beyond. Notably, the new character sheets are condensed from 3 pages to 2, contain attunement slots for magic items, and place various skill proficiency stats under their corresponding core ability score. Also, the new character sheet contains various technical updates, such as "Heroic Inspiration" replacing inspiration and "Species" replacing "Races." Please note that this is not a fillable PDF, so you'll have to print it and fill it out on your own.

This marks the first time since 2014 that D&D has updated its official character sheets, with print copies eventually going on sale in a couple of weeks. Also to come are several campaign tracker sheets that will be available as part of the to-be-released Dungeon Master's Guide.

Here is a slightly revised but better version IMHO. I resized/reshaped the Proficiency Bonus and (Heroic) Inspiration boxes to match the height of Initiative, Speed, etc. and added a section header "Skill Proficiences" as well as the default linked ability under ths circle for proficiency.

I'll leave it to @Horwath to make it fillable when time permits.

Could I trouble you just one more time for a version with Proficiency Bonus and Inspiration below the ability scores instead of above them (but still above skill proficiencies) and “SCORE” changed to “DC”?

So you want that to just say "DC" instead???

Or “SAVE DC”. Maybe that’s a dumb idea… I just figured the 2024 rules have players forcing monsters to make saves against DCs other than their spell save DC a lot more often, such as when grappling or shoving, or when using some weapon masteries and class abilities, and it would be nice to have a spot to just write those down next to the mod. If you have other ideas for where to write them I’m all ears.

Do you not use the scores then? We don't bother with them anymore... but I know that isn't typical.

That’s what I was thinking. Though, I guess with general feats all coming with +1 to a score, scores might not be as easy to leave off the sheet any more

If there was a smudge more room in the box maybe a small parentheses with a blank line under the name of the ability. But I also don’t want to make too much work for you, and I don’t know how practical shuffling elements around to make that extra space would be.

I'll see what I can whip up tomorrow. I already moved the other things around... not a big deal. I am thinking something like this maybe? Put DC next to saving throw?
