The 1990s was a rather dull decade.
Tell that to people who lived in the Soviet Union and Apartheid! The Berlin Wall fell and Mandela became president of South Africa.

  • Seinfeld, Friends, Fraisier, ST DS9, Babylon 5, Buffy.
  • The fantastic rebirth of Apple with the iMac, Windows 95 and 98, the Internet, and the WWW.
  • Trainspotting. Pulp Fiction, Fargo, Toy Story, Ghost in the Shell, Terminator 2, The Matrix.

The list goes on. It was a great decade.

Ok, haven’t looked into the Funko Pop spoiler, so I can’t confirm. But is the Teen supposed to be Wiccan? The timing seems weird except for the fact that Wanda’s kids were defying normal aging times already.
Gay, check.
May have a hex-like power, check.
Agatha knows his mom, check.

Yes it's Wiccan, has all the symbolism to him I hear.

I hope they do a better job making sense of his Religion then they do in the Comics, what a confusing mess, is he Reform Judism, is he Wicca, a synthesis of both, something else? To further confuse things he used to call himself Asgardian as a superhero name.

Here is how I personally would deal with it, the part of the him that is still Billy Maximoff is Wiccan and the part of him that is Billy Kaplan is Jewish, so there is some internal conflict within him, and which symbols he uses in his magic depends on circumstances and which part of him is dominate that day.

Eventually I'd split them in 2 via magic, Billy Maximoff aka Wiccan and Billy Kaplan aka Solomon (a much more fitting name for Jewish spellcaster).

Personally, I would leave the three main real-world religions completely out of it. Way too much baggage with what goes on in real life for that to drag down the MCU.

In my experience "a confusing mess" is what most real people believe. Switching between one belief system and another is not binary, and believing several mutually contradictory things at the same time is very human.
