Phase 5 of the MCU is over

Not that bad given this phase had both the pandemic and a writers strike to deal with.
I feel they've managed to get their TV shows back on track after Secret Invasion.

Next phase seems well set up, with F4 and a couple of Avengers films.

Thunderbolts, The Marvels, and What If were all excellent, and Thunderbolts was the one film that was outstanding. The overall quality was OK, but it was much more eclectic than the first 3 phases, much as Phase 4 was.

The outstanding films or properties of previous phases in my opinion were:

Phase 1: Captain America the First Avenger.

Phase 2: Winter Soldier.

Phase 3: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Infinity War, Endgame.

Phase 4: No Way Home, Wandavision.

The Good: The Marvels, Deadpool & Wolverine, Thunderbolts, GotG3 and Agatha All Along
The Bad: Quantumania, Captain America, Secret Invasion
The Didn't Watch: Secret Invasion (I gave up after the first episode), Loki, Echo, Daredevil, Ironheart and What If 3.
Which I guess just leaves What If S2 ... it was fine, but kinda what made me uninterested in S3.

Within the good ... top marks probably go to Agatha for me, it was definitely my fav.

The Good: Loki, Deadpool & Wolverine, Daredevil, Thunderbolts, GotG3 and Agatha All Along
The Bad: Captain America, Secret Invasion, The Marvels
The Indifferent: Quantumania, Ironheart, Echo
The Didn't Watch: What If, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

I really liked Thunderbolts, but I wouldn't say that it was great. Other than perhaps Florence Pugh - she continues to shine. Everyone else, and the film itself, was good. Not quite great.

Though I give it extra props for actually telling a decent story about mental health, without all the classic Hollywood, 'I don't need no help'- stuff. It's a step in the right direction when it comes to that. There's still a road ahead.

Good movie. Not quite good enough to be great, though.
Yeah I enjoyed Florence Pughs performance but the rest was a bit average. Im actually surprised how many people are keen to see it. It must have got decent reviews somewhere but I wouldnt call it a must-see movie.

Quantumania - Hot Garbage
Gotg3 - Pretty solid, Rocket really gave you some big emotional payoffs in an otherwise silly movie.
Secret Invasion - Hottest of Garbage.
Loki - There are aspects of loki I do quite enjoy, and the ending is pretty poetic. But its also the worst of the multiversal stuff, a lot of it doesn't make sense, and I will never forgive this show from taking Infinity stones, the pinnacle of the Phase 1 and 2....and relegating them to paperweights. Season 2 couldn't fix that.
The Marvels - Meh, I enjoyed it more than Captain Marvel, and I quite enjoy Ms Marvel.
What ifs - didn't see.
Echo - I literally fell asleep while watching this. Its the only marvel show I have started and couldn't finish (though there are others I wish I had just skipped).
Deadpool/Wolveriene - I mean watching Reynolds and Jackman just have fun on the screen, it was a great popcorn flick feeling. As an actual movie, its actually pretty bad, and the whole concept of teh nexus being and how they introduced it is so laughably bad you just have to forget its actually cannon now (just when I thought the multiverse couldn't get any worse.
Agatha - Pretty fun jaunt, probably one of my favorite of the tv shows.
CA BNW - Meh
Daredevil - Its a shadow of the original show but still pretty good, one of my favorites of this phase.
Thunderbolts - Solid, just a solid movie.
Ironheart - haven't seen yet.

Of all those titles, I've seen only Deadpool & Wolverine. Guardians of the Galaxy was my favorite Marvel movie, but I haven't been able to bring myself to watch Volume 3. (I don't think I can emotionally handle the animal cruelty storyline.)
[Nothing against Marvel. I found that once I took in my nephew who was going through some difficult times, I couldn't watch Stranger Things either. I couldn't watch teens in danger.]

Personally, I think it was a definite mixed bag, but in all honesty, most were mid- not as good as some said, and not as bad as others said.
I would broadly agree with this, but I would say that in a competitive media environment like this, where frankly "good" shows are coming out pretty much every month (or at least new seasons of existing good shows are), then "mid not bad" isn't remotely good enough.

Personally:

Quantumania: Unwatchably bad. Dire.
GotG3: Kind of great?
Secret Invasion: Unwatchable.
Loki S2: Fine, I guess.
The Marvels: Haven't seen
What If S2/3: Haven't seen (thought S1 was only okay)
Echo: Didn't watch, everyone said it was dull, don't know if that's true but...
Deadpool & Wolverine: Okay I guess, but finally Deadpool truly starting to vanish up his own ass.
Agatha All Along: Pretty good
Captain America: Not good, mid as hell.
Daredevil: Easily the worst season of Daredevil we've seen despite some of the best performances, the story was just a mess. Be interesting to see if the next season improves on this or is just as bad, given this was allegedly like, 30% reshoots and massive re-edits. Was he making it better or making it worse?
Thunderbolts: Haven't seen yet
Ironheart: Love a lot of the actors, but oh god it's kind of tiring
