D&D General You Can Now Make Greyhawk Stuff On DM's Guild!

As of today, third party creators can publish and sell material set in the World of Greyhawk! Dating back to the dawn of Dungeons & Dragons, Greyhawk has an entire chapter devoted to it in the new 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide.

Right now you can check out some legacy official content from Wizards of the Coast, but expect more to start appearing there as soon as the third party creators get their teeth into it.

Are you referring to the legal controversy about Gygax's will(s)? As far as I know (which is not much, admittedly), Gygax had no longer any rights at all to Greyhawk, except fot the name Zagyg and the Gord's books.

Good news, even if I don't understand why it wasn't opened back when GoS was released...

Now, if only they would open the other old settings and also previous editions (yes, I can dream).

I suspect that's what he was saying with the tease that they're going to be visiting other settings.

Castle Greyhawk is just one of those things that, if we ever get it, cannot possibly live up to what we have conjured in our imaginations.

I would suggest Castle of the Mad Archmage, which is my homage to Castle Greyhawk. But then, I'm biased.

Probavbecause as of GoS, they didn't know what they wanted to do with Greyhawk...and immediately after it was done, there was a change in leadership, so any decision got delayed a bit.

Now, they have a solid official baseline, similar to the Settings that got full products.

Wasn't there a Whisper bard made specially for Snarf in XGtE?

You may note than there's a disturbing resemblances between Snarf posting styles and specific hatred and Xanathar's. Coincidence? I think not.
