Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

I get that, but I'm still not sure why she placed the Sigil in the first place?
Maybe she saw something in the future that we weren't shown?
As I said, she was in a trance and didn't consciously know she was doing it. Just like when she went into a trance and named the people who needed to be in Agatha's coven. I would argue that Lilia has no idea that she is the one who made the sigil, and even if she did, I would argue that she would have no idea why she did it. That's just how her magic works.

Ahhh... now I get you. Sorry about that, it's been a long week at work.
I'll be checking it again when I rewatch the episode over the weekend.

I'm hoping we still get Patti LuPone's trial at some point. I think her story is still holding a few pieces of the puzzle.

Well, the Fantastic Four movie is rumored to be a 1960s period piece. That makes her being Franklin's governess awkward. I mean, sure, time travel, but still awkward for anything that isn't really core to the plot.

Its also an alternate universe (at least where they start) so its not all that relevant.

Yes, it was her in a trance. But who, or what, was temporarily speaking through her/controlling her? Some entity wanted her to make that sigil and give it to William.

OK, I have a theory … hear me put :)
It could be bunnies!
Could this series be the beginning of a redemption arc for Agatha?

Here is why I’m thinking it … in the comics, Agatha was a nanny / governess to Franklin Richards, son of Reed and Sue Richards of the Fantastic Four. Agatha helped them with Franklin’s growing power and acted as kind of a mentor to Franklin.

Now that the Fantastic Four are fully back in the MCU and a Fantastic Four movie is officially on the horizon which by all reports will have Reed and Sue Richards already married and Franklin is already born, you have to wonder if the plan is to have Agatha fill a similar roll with Franklin in the MCU as she has in the comics.

I’m just spitballing, but it feels like this could be a possibility ….
I haven't read any of the related comics, so the only other thing I know Agatha from is the Marvel Midnight Suns computer game, in which she is (or was) a good person, so I wouldn't be opposed to a redemption arc.

This is just odd. It'd be like me watching Dr. Who and saying I'm not interested in British science-fiction. What did you expect from an American show about a witch?
I have heard people say that about Doctor Who, and it seems a perfectly reasonable position to take. Modern Doctor Who has been changed to try and make it more appealing to American audiences.

I would argue that Lilia has no idea that she is the one who made the sigil...

Remember - Teen asks Agatha if she was the one who put the sigil on him, and she admits that, the way sigils work (on both the target and the caster) she wouldn't know.

Indeed part of the point for Lilia to put the sigil on him is so that she'd forget him!

I don't think we need to invoke another entity. It looked more like to me that she read his palm, actually saw something, and said, "Oh HELL NO!" and made the sigil to sever her involvement. "I see nothing! I hear nothing! I know NOTHING" Sgt Schultz style.
