D&D (2024) Aberrant Mind Sorcerer With a High Intelligence?

Dragonhelm

Knight of Solamnia
When WotC was playtesting their psionics rules, there was an Unearthed Arcana that presented a psionics arcane tradition for the wizard. You can find it here.

I played the psionics wizard for a few sessions and had fun. I would like to convert the character to the 2024 rules for fun, but one thing really bugs me. I envision this character as being a super smart academic who heads up a psionics academy. It's a concept I've had since 2e. Think of him like Professor X meets Mace Windu.

So how do I create a 10th-level aberrant mind sorcerer who makes use of his high Intelligence?

Inspiration art comes from the erudite class from Dragon Magazine during the 3.5 period. I don't remember what issue or know who the artist is.

maybe, Tasha's did add few spells that target Int, so if you use those, but yeah, Cha still has some harder spells to resist.

NPCs don't have those spells so falls into DM specials.

Charisma is more useful in the social pillar though. Probably comes up more often than say Arcana or whatever.

Start with a half-decent Intelligence, then take Keen Mind to gain expertise in Arcana. That way, you are pretty much a genius when it comes to arcane matters.
