I'd like to imagine the high-end restaurants in Baldur's Gate serving pizza with rare or hard-to-obtain ingredients. Mammoth mozarella from Icewind Dale, Deep Rothe pepperoni from the underdark, elemental anchovies from the quasi-elemental plane of salt.

I’m fine with anachronisms in game so I wouldn’t disguise what the pizza was.

But whatever it’s made with, it definitely needs pineapple.

Because it's the year 81 in my gameworld, I made it culturally like the 1980s. So pizza isn't out of place at all.

Pizza is either toast or a cake, not a sandwich.

And yes, the implication is that an "open-face sandwich" is not, in fact, a sandwich.

Edit: a deep-dish pizza probably qualifies as a quiche.
