The copyright strike was removed, the 5e options were added to beyond. The page spreads were authorized. Surely the outcome matters? Or is it just the controversy that folks are chasing?

Sure but it isn’t important right? It shouldn’t be ignored or conveniently forgotten.

There’s a substantial difference. By adding ‘anyone could find’ you seem to want to lower the bar for what is objectionable in any given set of circumstances to what a single person might make of them. There may be many people affected in any given scenario of which only one may have a negative view. You can find someone who believe’s anything on the internet.

Were you under the impression that there was some objective standard of truth on the boards? Every opinion posted here is informed by perspective. Yours, mine, everybody’s.

It’s why I tend to tenth-man it here about corporations because I think I have a perspective on that which some other people here haven’t. Maybe they’ve never been a position of managing the redundancy process for instance. Some will, but it’s clear that many haven’t got a clue.

I didn’t say they were perfect, I said they corrected the mistake which is the right thing to do and means I find the way it handled not at all objectionable.

I actually brought it up as a little levity in an otherwise bleak thread of fairly constant negging on WotC. You just seized on it pretty hard and didn’t let go.

I don’t think they do, I’m afraid. I’m not indifferent. As I said in previous threads I’ve been made redundant, and been at risk of redundancy. I’ve seen it from both sides. I just don’t take it personally and I’ve seen why sometimes it has to happen. You’re not doing anyone a favour by keeping them in a job that is ultimately hurting the business and by extension the other people who work there. Trying to paint management as soulless selfish bureaucrats is one of the characterizations on the boards that I find very distasteful. Along with the general anti business schtick.

I think it is important for people to reach their own informed conclusions.

There’s a hell of a lot of misinformation out there these days. Oh and the telephone game going out of control.

Then again, presenting facts and truths don’t really matter if people have stubbornly dug themselves in already. Nuance and shades of grey are hard to gauge on the internet of extremes.

You have my full agreement. Another problem is when people present their opinions ask facts and just assume people will understand that it´s just opinion. Like you said, nuance. It really is a lost artform, and as most of us are not mind readers in real life this goes double on the internet.

Now this thread is so far off topic that I should really have known to just stay away.
