You are assuming that Ruby will still be alive to attend Chet's wedding. We are starting this next adventure with Ruby & George's wedding. Haven't you ever seen a war movie? The cliche is that the character who becomes married or engaged early on always dies in the big battle to create maximum drama. They even used this cliche in the Star Trek episode "Balance of Terror" and in the final Harry Potter book & movie.

Ok, first, my daughter says you are evil. I agree with her, the posting of said image is EVIL!! Punched right in the gut. I don’t know the Star Trek reference but I do know the HP reference very well.

At least it shouldn’t be like her first wedding, at the end of a gun lol Hopefully there might be a couple of people around who can help with minor emergencies.

Module 3 of the AGELESS Campaign will begin approximately five months character time after Module 2. It will start in New York City on February 12, 1883, with the arrival of a fleet of three ships bringing Egypt's Princess Neferka to New York City to attend the wedding of Ruby West to George Eastman on Valentine’s Day. A U.S. delegation led by Secretary of State Frederick Frelinghuysen will meet the ships. The Queen will attend a formal State Dinner with U.S. President Chester A. Arthur on the following day.
During Module 2, James Parker, Mina Hamilton Parker and Lawrence Cantrell received Naval commissions when James’s ship The Magnificence was commissioned as a U.S. Navy ship the USS Magnificence. The ship and the three individuals have remained with the active Navy so that they can now provide safe transport to Queen Neferka’s entourage. Joining the Magnificence on this journey are the naval warship the USS Kearsarge, made of the same clerical-enchanted wood as the Magnificence, and the schooner Dawson (named after Ruby's biological grandfather Andrew Dawson) which is now the USS Dawson, another Parker-owned ship made from enchanted wood, in temporary service to the Navy.
The fleet will maintain a sailing speed of 40 to 45 knots, meaning the trip between Alexandria, Egypt, and New York City will take approximately 7 to 8 days. James in now Captain rank, Mina and Lawrence now Commander rank. Each is currently serving as either the captain or first officer on these ships. James's grandmother Alsoomse (who was responsible for the original enchantment of the timber for all three vessels) will also be with the fleet.

Hey, I'd like to join if possible. I played with Queenie a long time ago in one of the Story Hours on CM.
My basic concept is a Monster Hunter, so probably Ranger with some Sorcerer levels coming in later - unless I can use one of the weird third-party gunslinger classes; I do love the idea of mixing magic and firearms to do magic bullets, ice bullets, fire bullets, etc. I /think/ Paizo had one back then, as well? It's been, well, ages since I last did anything with 3.5 so I have no real idea how lores and such things were handled back then. I'd want to have some skill at ID'ing various critters of various types.
The core idea is this:
Caleb Cross: Monster Hunter 1/2 wood elf, mom was an elf from Mexico, dad was from New Mexico or thereabouts.
Kind of a combination of The Lone Ranger and The Witcher - my dad was a monster-killer, out to make the west safe by gunning down unnatural beasts raiding towns and trade routes. When he was betrayed and turned into a vampire, I took up his fight, I could certainly be after the thing currently stalking Ruby.

I hate to ask this, but is the last XP we got in that thread our updated xp? So when I actually finish updating Ruby’s sheet with I can do it correctly.

Well, I never saw that this thread went onto a page 2. It's like 20 years haven't gone by at all.
I have a few questions about how Abby would be getting to Rochester, who she might expect there, etc. But I'm ready to do whenever you all are. I was thinking about getting a start off/what Abby had been doing in the last few months, but I'm not sure where to find her.

I do not since I don't know if I'm in the game or not, or if the background is acceptable. A major question that didn't occur to me until now is what level would I be coming in at?
