A return to splats might actually be interesting but I can't imagine WotC would do it.Sword and Fist: A book of alternate class features, new subclasses, and subsystems for fighters, barbarians, monks, and rogues.

What can I say, I searched my feelings and found nothing but wildly implausible ideas.A return to splats might actually be interesting but I can't imagine WotC would do it.
The AP style books like Tyranny of Dragons or Phandelver. Setting neutral or generic Realms. Just a pallet cleanser from all the setting hopping we've done lately. What do you mean by this?
Gotcha. "Classic" threw me and I didn't know if you were looking for something more like, say, GDQ.The AP style books like Tyranny of Dragons or Phandelver. Setting neutral or generic Realms. Just a pallet cleanser from all the setting hopping we've done lately.
I remember Ajit George (who worked on the Kalakeri DoD of Ravenloft, and also the Journeys through the Radiant Citadel!) had expressed interest in working on Dark Sun a year or so ago. Haven't heard anything else since though.I'd like them to continue their Setting books with... Dark Sun (headed by Justice Arman).
I don't really care how much they change it.
