Outgunned Superheroes

By the way, I am curious about the clearly Iron Man role. One of my favorite superhero tropes is the teenaged superhero in armor suit: i.e., Blue Beetle, Batman Beyond, Bio-Boosted Armor Guyver, etc. So I will be curious if it will be possible to recreate characters like these with this role.

I would be shocked if they don't have this archetype covered.

A kind friend let me read through his copy of Outgunned Adventure. Love it. It's definitely on my to-buy list as a hardcopy book, and Outgunned Superheroes is likewise on my to-back list.

While I really want to try Pulp Cthulhu, I am almost wondering whether Outgunned Adventure with a splash of Lovecraftian cosmic horror would be a better fit for the sort of games that I would love to run.

The Outgunned games have what they call Action Flicks which change and focus the rules a bit to provide a more tailored experience. Two of the action flicks might help. One's for Ghostbusters and the other's for Aliens. They've filed off the serial numbers, barely. They're not out yet though. I don't know what the ETA on those is.

I assume you're talking the standalone versions, because the general Outgunned Action Flicks book is out, at least in PDF. I'm looking right at it. Action Flicks 2 even has an "Old Ones" section. Or were you talking the physical versions of the books? (I almost entirely do PDFs these days so I wouldn't know about those).

Action Flicks 2 (which will be coming out in print at the same time as OG Adventure) has a cosmic horror flick. Between that and the core OGA book, I think you have everything you need to run Pulp Cthulhu.

So this ad came across my feed and hoo boy these folks are pushing the "inspired by" limit pretty hard:
