BrOSR

I've read Jeffro's book. At his best, he has an infectious enthusiasm and some very engaging insights, but when he's wrong he's very, very wrong, and rather off-putting in the process.
Yeah. Personally I don't really think he's a bad guy the way Vox Day really is a bad guy (I interacted with VD enough many years ago to satisfy myself on that) but he can definitely be an a-hole and his claims need to be treated with a lot of caution.

It is obnoxious one true way-ism in which Bros claim to be playing D&D the only true, right, way. The exact definition of what qualifies as the one, true, way varies from one Bro to another because these guys are, of course, predictable clowns with their heads rammed so far up their collective rectums that they can't even agree on what qualifies as True Old School D&D. And I say this as a fan of the OSR and old editions of D&D. Also, many of the self-proclaimed Bros are big on racism and misogyny via Twitter. The BrOSR is a joke.

[Edit: Since I posted this, I've learned that "BrOSR" started off as shorthand for "Brazilian OSR" and was later co-opted by these jerks. They're so bereft of originality that they stole somebody else's name for their own movement.]
It somewhat depresses me that this is a thing, but of course it is.

If you watch Kelsey Dionne's West Marches video on the Youtube, she gives a shout out to the BROSR faction, as well as their leader, Jeffro Johnson. Around 40 minutes in.
What am I missing here? I click the link and heard no mention of either Jeffro Johnson or BROSR. The only person she name drops is Ben Robbins who created or coined the phrase West Marches, and she’s talking about mechanics.
