Yes. Age, generally brings with it insight, experience, wisdom.

Not ageism. I think it is reasonable to guess that many of the people who have been playing 100% human made D&D for 30+ years would be resistant to having AI make it instead. Does this strike you as an especially strange idea?

According to an Ipsos poll in January this year, 74% of the 18-25 are actively using AI, while only 35% of the 45-59 years old do. While it's possible that younger people are using AI despite being staunchly against it, it's more realistic to consider that a sample of a population of an older age bracket has more reservation about this technology in professional products than a sample drawn from a younger age bracket would.

My biggest and favorite reply to this argument is (GinnyD et al) to just look at the way they have changed their opinion as they have learned how the game actually works(publicly in the best case, or just skipped over more often) the more the younger age groups play often the more they like the game they were staunchly against when the first started playing.

I don't think this is true. I think younger people are more likely to be anti-AI

I don't think it is this at all. While younger people may use it more, younger people also tend to be more idealistic and the stance against AI is primarily an idealistic one, not a practical one.

In other words if we assume for a moment that those using AU are not against it, I would argue most of the 51% of older adults simply don't care, while on the other hand a heck of a lot of that 26% of the younger crowd that doesn't use it are actually against it.

I have no data or evidence to either support or repute this hypothesis, but it is what I believe.

I think most of the people on this forum that are anti-AI are younger than I am ... I know some of them are.

Because young people tend in my experience to be more likely to be against anything.

Young people are more likely to take a stand on moral grounds (whether right or wrong) IME and that is what being anti-AI is mostly.
