What videogames are you playing in 2025?

The bonus-action jumps that can clear the screen if you have enough STR, bonus-action shoves, no attunement to worry about, all made martials just feel a lot more fun to pilot in BG3.
They do make martials feel good, but the poor rogue (or other classes that get good bonus actions) gets absolutely screwed by the changes. Bonus-action dash - who cares?!

Itemization-wise, BG3 overeggs the pudding by quite a lot; by 1/3 of the way in I’m drowning in overpowered items (often full of incomprehensible Larianish powers) and my characters are veritable gods. On the other hand, in Solasta the items are maybe too bland, and you end up using the same gear all the time due to the restrictiveness of the attunement system. Surely there’s a happy medium somewhere?

Bonus action dash is very good. Only rogues and Wizard types get access to it.

Right, but (depending on strength) bonus action jump can render it irrelevant, removing one of the rogue’s very few unique traits. The other martials are stealing his lunch, and he only had half a sandwich to start with. Having jump as a bonus action also means the poor rogue can’t even bonus dash and then jump, which can be a huge pain in the backside, especially with all the vertical elements in BG3. I much prefer the Solasta implementation of jump (which I think is pretty much 5E RAW)

Which is why Thief is the best Rogue.

Eh, as a Rogue I'm usually using my bonus action more for Hide and dual-wield, anyway. Or even Disengage if I actually hit with my Attack action and got Sneak Attack already that turn.

Plus Rogue likely has low STR so Dash would actually be better than Jump for them.

The process of playing Blue Prince so far:

Day 1: Okay, this is neat, it's like Betrayal at House on the Hill
Day 2: Wait... was that there yesterday?
Day 3: Ohhhhhhh, it sounds like blueprints!
Day 5: I can go outside?
Day 7: She went missing??
Day 10: Stop giving me $#@&$!$ bathrooms!!
Day 11: Hang on... what country are we in?
Day 14: What planet are we on?!
Day 15: <sobbing> How could she?!
Day 16: Oh thank god I needed that banana so much.
Day 17: Are we... are we the baddies?
Day 19: Awesome I did the goal of the game and got credits, but like... where did everybody go?!
Day 20: Ohhhh okay so there's like fifty different things to do here, I am going to be here for a very long time aren't I?
Day 21: Okay so these puzzles are just going to keep getting harder, aren't they.
Day 23: Wait those mean something? <sigh> Let me grab my notebook.
Day 24: Wait those change each day?! <sigh> Let me grab my notebook.
Day 26: Oh crap I know what to do with this!!
Day 28: <lighting flag on fire> ¡Viva la Revolución!
Day 31: What the hell is the laundry room supposed to do?
Day 32: Ohhhhhhhhhhh
I'm on Day 40 now. I "beat" the game on Day 19. I am nowhere close to done with this game.

I have lost considerable PC time because my wife and daughters are obsessed with this game. I think they're on Day 40-something right now; I don't think they found Room 46 yet.
