<sob sob> I still have to wait for the 20th to get my pdfs.Shipping Notification!
It does seem like a really good deal. I hope that entices a lot of people to buy it.With the pdf being $30, the standard print edition -- a 366 pg hardcover and 189 cards -- is only twice that? That's actually a really good deal. And the standard has some nice production values... they could have done $75 and I don't think people would have thought twice.
I mean, I know they want to get the core book out there to grow the fan base but still, I don't think they're being greedy here at all.
The print size is a little bit on the small size, so you made a good decision. Cards come in a lovely large box with magnetic lid so probably wouldn't get lost. Course, I'm really good at losing things myself, so I get it.It does seem like a really good deal. I hope that entices a lot of people to buy it.
If it weren't for the facts that I (a) would totally lose and/or destroy those cards and (b) my eyes are old and crappy so I need to zoom in to read things, I would have gotten the print edition as well.
It hurts my brain we can't get realistic font sizes. The print size is a little bit on the small size, so you made a good decision. Cards come in a lovely large box with magnetic lid so probably wouldn't get lost. Course, I'm really good at losing things myself, so I get it.
Haven't read the book thoroughly yet, but my husband and I went through character creation. Looks like it's going to be really fun!
Out of curiosity, what's the problem? It's not 5E? The duality dice? What do you think makes it untenable for your players? It hurts my brain we can't get realistic font sizes.
I wanted to buy this, but I know my players, and we won't be playing it. I hope everyone has fun!
