Yes, I got confused about the releases. Sorry.where does this say anything about the October book? All it says is that the Eberron one is delayed, and that was to be released in a month

The Lorwyn MtG set was moved from Q3 2025 to Q1 2026. If the book was supposed to release with the set, it would make sense to move the book. What makes you think it'll be Lorwyn-Shadowmoor, and not Ravenloft?
That makes total sense to me! Thanks for your response, I agree!!The Lorwyn MtG set was moved from Q3 2025 to Q1 2026. If the book was supposed to release with the set, it would make sense to move the book.
I've always thought that the time frame for the horror UA to print for October was very tight. The fact that they had to do another take on hexblade means they couldn't have had the book ready for print in time. Either dropping it or revising would have made it miss the deadline.
It's possible the horror UA is for a Ravenloft book, but I'm going to assume it's not coming October and probably wasn't going to be. That leaves Lorwyn moving to match the MtG set the likely fate of the October book.
They quietly announced the book on Instagram at their big MTG event. What makes you think it'll be Lorwyn-Shadowmoor, and not Ravenloft?
I do remember that! I just haven't heard more since, but it does make senseThey quietly announced the book on Instagram at their big MTG event.
The issue with that was they would have been doing some marketing for it by now. They would want a heads up to get presales and news articles going. The dead air means that the decision to pull it came a lot longer back than this Friday. What if this was also a thin book, and they think that what happened with the Eberron book will also happen to it, so they're not saying anything while they try to figure that out?
Oh man, the PS adventure was pretty bad, but I couldn't even finish reading the SJ one. So I guess I can't say which was worse... but neither one was good. The setting material in Planescape was better, but the adventure was far worse.
The next 'book' on the release schedule is the starter set, I don't think they will focus on advertising the one after that before the starter set is releasedThe issue with that was they would have been doing some marketing for it by now.
