Your Three Desert Island RPGs

In no particular order, if you were limited to 3 RPGs for the rest of time, which would you choose. You can explain, or don't. Or even list 4. I'm not a cop.
Currently
Top of the chart? Alien. It fills a deep sci-fi space trucker need.
Legend of the Five Rings 5th (aka FFG L5R). A robust fantasy setting with plenty of room to explore; plus, it's a very adaptable core.
WEG d6 Space, Savage Worlds or Hero System 5r... I can't decide stably between them.

The ones just a hair off the list? Daggerheart, CORPS 2e, FFG Star Wars, Dune, STA...

I'm surprised how few votes D&D 5E is getting. I don't think it made anyone's list. I'm also surprised that D&D 2E (my favorite edition) got as many votes as it has, granted it was only a few.

5E is "everyone's second favorite edition".

That and im kinda sick of it.

Dessert island though kinda means you want lots. 2E and 3.5 have more cariety/options. Same with Pathfinder.

You cant really do gritty Darksun in 5E for example. It woul probably take you years just to play the Pathfinder APs or the 2E settings.

5Es much the same game after game. With meh adventures comparatively.

Want to go camping for a week with 6 craft beers or 3 dozen macro beers?

I know its on mine, some posts up.

Maybe because I'm not an hardcore dnd fan, I don't know, but it's clearly not my "second favorite edition", it's the only one I like, even if I did play quite a few campaigns with Basic and 2E back in the days.

I would rather play 5E right now. Do I want to play it in 20 years. Probably not.

D6 Star Wars and 2E pass that bar. Quite a few D6 mentions. Thought I was the last one liking or playing it.
