D&D 5E (2024) Predict WotC's 2026 D&D releases

A 2024/5.5 update for Xanathar's and Tasha's. I can totally see WotC charging twice for the same product.
The least shocking thing they could possibly do. The Forgotten Realms players book including super popular 2014 subclasses isn't a mistake, nor is them releasing the Artificer a third time.

I don't recall what the lead time is for stores to be able to put their orders in, but I seem to recall it's about three months.
Two, usually. But yeah, even though I feel that things are generally announced TOO FAR in advance these days for truly good marketing, I also feel like we should know something about next year's stuff by now.

Yeah, skipping Q1 feels like something they wouldn't do on purpose.
I could be wrong, but I feel like they don't usually (other than the 2024 MM, of course, but that was later than they originally intended) put anything out until March or April anyhow. I think that they quite often DO skip Q1. And (as we have seen this year) they over-stuff Q3 & Q4, but again, this year's quick succession was not on purpose (when it comes to Eberron's release).

My answer is amended to:
Ravenloft Players Guide
Dark Sun Players Guide
Dark Sun DM Book

Low hanging fruit, and I do not disagree. Although it would be a departure for them to release two volumes for a setting... oh wait
:ROFLMAO:

World Tree Adventure Anthology

Interesting. I would be interested in this.

A splat book, with "Everything" dropped
They'll reference some in-world character, it's the shtick. Maybe Boo and/or Minsc!

Yeah, pretty easy guesses, mostly. The PHB mentions the World Tree in the same vein as other methods of traveling worlds, so I thought it was the next logical one after Infinite Staircase. It could be adventures based around trees. Which would be neat. And by "Everything dropped" I think they will do away with the "of Everything" naming convention, and start something new. Probably more in the same vein as "Mordenkainen Presents."

So at this point I guess we are not getting an announcement?

Is there no Q1 release for D&D?

Or......is it the complete book of Stealth, a 260 page hard cover that rewrites the rules for 5.24e stealth and covers every scenario. As part of the marketing it just pops up in book stores unexpectedly and without warning.

That is it, except all 260 pages are definitions of Hidden and Invisible.
