If the OP of a thread blocks you, do you lose access to the entire thread? The "player skill vs character skill" thread just completely disappeared from my view and I'm trying to figure out why. Thought maybe I was blocked by whoever the OP is.

I too am locked out, but the thread is still there if I'm logged out, so I presume it is a multi-poster-blocking event.

Quite strange, as the whole thing seemed quite civil to me, and I haven't been actively involved with much of anything else recently.

Yes, if you are blocked by the thread's OP you cannot access the rest of the thread. That thread still exists for me as well, but there are threads I used to frequent that give me error messages that let me know I've been blocked their OP.

Not to speak for anybody else, and I don't know the particulars of this one since I've not really been following that thread, but there are times on this forum when someone will block a group of people at least temporarily so they don't get themselves sucked in to endless arguments.

Again, not saying this is the case here, but just thought I'd point out a potential reasoning to preemptively avoid assuming the worst
