@InVinoVeritas My bad if the language was a little artistic I was referring to the alleyways of the vigil as veins of main road branching through like the cardiology of the city, sigil alleys do reproduce in a strange way in the cannon. Some of the areas can give birth to new sections of sigil

@ General I will make a post tomorrow to get to all the IC thread

Luke nods at the merchant "I will not promise anything yet. But IF I do this, remember that I know how to hop the planes and have access to divination. You will give me piece of your hair. What is your name? You really should just go to Clerk ward and become Cage-bound. There are opportunities. But I will not say no to free magic item. Of no less than two thousand gold, but I will request no more than eight either. Depends on what your wizard can offer and when I come to collect. If you get back, start preparing."

After receving the hair and taking the name, he heads toward the dwarf going long way around to avoid the press at the bar. Just as he approached, he notes two other persons closing in. Both look like clueless, but the looks may be deceptive. And being clueless doesn't make them powerless.

Still, he approaches, nodding at the dwarf, not waiting for the polite one with the chair.
"Bright day to you, Master Ironfist. I'm sniffing after a bit of dark and I hear you whisper answers for jink. Might we jaw terms?"
Am I missing something? Who are all the ‘clueless’ approaching the dwarf? Aril is there but is a local, Mr. black took a different (yet close) table and he also looks ‘local’. Bimble and Wawaate haven’t entered the bar yet.

I’m wondering if I missed a post somewhere.

You're not alone in that.
I'm guessing two things.
1. A mis-reading of who is where.
2. Luke thinks, for reasons unknown, that Aril is one of the clueless. That's legit for the character.

(As a side note: Aril is polite to people initially for two reasons: he's the product of a nation which whipped commoners for disrespect, and he's a cleric...)

That’s legit for your character? Like, he is kinda clueless looking/sounding? Or legit for Luke?

Edit: to be fair, I wasn’t clear which table I was going to. Just any table that was not in line of sight to the bar. (Using patrons to block line of sight, if necessary). I was leaving it to the Dm to decide where my next action takes my character.

Ideally, Mr. black would be somewhere in the vicinity of the dwarf. 1. Because he’s interested in speaking with the dwarf and 2. It probably makes the most sense for the plot.

That's how I understood your post. (And not re-distributing jink in front of someone the character needs to talk to. 😉)

Legit for Luke to misread Aril.
Aril is local, and acts/sounds it.
Perhaps Aril is too clean and polite, so Luke thought Aril was clueless?
I actually mixed up Aril and Mr Black, I thought local slang was affectstuon to fit in.

And Wawaate was with the girl...that was second one

Sorry for the confusion
