D&D 5E (2024) What 2024 class have you played the most

What 2024 class have you played the most

So this is what class you've played the most since 2024 rules were published, using the 2024 version of the class. I included Artificer, but that has only been out a few weeks and playing the old Artificer doesn't count.

It is also only what you have played personally, not what you have seen as a DM or seen other players play.

For me it is Warlock. I counted all my PCs today and here is what I have played with 2024 and it surprised me Warlock was at the top:

6 Warlocks
4 Bards
4 Rangers
3 Rogues
2 Fighters
2 Paladins
2 Monks
1 Wizard
1 Druid
1 Barbarian*

What is it for you?

* The Barbarian is the only Barbarian I have played in 9 years of 5E, and I only played him for a half a session before he got disintegrated and died. The group jokes about that quite a bit.

I just do not get to play that much, but I voted Wizard but it is not a pure 2024 play, this character was previously a 2014 character and is a Wizard/ranger multiclass converted over at Level 15 and has not levelled.
I have also converted a high level bard, also not played it much. I think I have one level 3 or 4 barbarian in a one-shot.

How on earth have you managed to play 26 characters in only 14 months. That’s like two characters a month!

To answer your question. Wizard. 100% of my 2024 time has been spent on Wizards. Well one wizard to be precise. An illusionist. Has been a lot of fun. He’s made it to level 13 and still going to be fair.

Some of them are only 1 session, or in the case of the Barbarian like around 25 minutes of play time.

Those are also only the 2024 classes though, I am still playing a couple regular 2014 games as well.

I don’t get to play much, so my main experience comes from what my players choose. But I have played a monk three times (actually three variations on the same character): once to level 14 (transitioning to the 2024 rules at level 8), one level 20 one-shot, and now to level 8.

I’ve never played a monk before 5e.

We only started to dabble in 5.5e and I only played a cleric so far. The other players have a monk that he likes, an artificer which he seems neutral on, and a rogue which is not using weapon mastery for some reason.

HOLY CRAP. You've played over 20 characters in about a year? I'm not sure if I've actually played 20 characters ever.
