Have you seen "The Fifth Element"? "Love Conquers All" is a pretty basic story

They killed his dog.

But this trailer doesn't make the movie seem simple. It doesn't seem like anything, just a bunch of random fight poses and haircuts from the video game. It feels like it's on speed, gibbering away.

Maybe the film will be amazing. But this trailer didn't sell me.

I think it's a "teaser trailer," not an actual trailer. It's teasing the feel and look of the movie to get people excited. I assume there will be more story details in the actual trailer.

I think if you are of a certain age who remembers spending untold amounts of quarters playing Street Fighter 2 in arcades, this movie is right up your alley. I’m in for the nostalgia vibes.

Yes. I've seen The Fifth Element. I do think the stakes are on different scale from John Wick. I'm sure Street Fighter will be closer to John Wick than The Fifth Element. Plus Cody Rhodes is no Bruce Willis. He too is closer to Keanu Reeves, but still lesser. A movie featuring two professional wraslers and Jason Momoa is not going to be story heavy.
