Explorer difficulty is the best way to play DOS2, honestly. Explorer reduces the amount of engagement you need to have with the utterly borked gear vs. enemy scaling systems just to keep up, and that can only be a good thing.I started DOS2 at the end of the year and am still plugging away at it. I had to drop to Explorer mode, and I am running with 2 "lone wolf" characters instead of the party of 4.
Hardly. There's plenty of times even as a STR 8 Rogue where I felt Jump was a better use of the bonus action than Dash. It's only worthless to Jump as a STR 8 Rogue if you're in a battle with no elevation differences and terrain obstacles.*The monk or theif rogue having to use a BA to jump makes it worthless to jump in combat, which counter BG3s general design of making terrain matter in combat.
I love seeing reacts to Expedtion 33. I guess I subscribe to Sally Sparrow's take "Sad is like happiness for deep people".Watched a streamer just wrap up Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and they've been ugly sobbing for twenty minutes, 11/10 game
Wow. That might just be the most pretentious thing I have read since Vampire: the Masquerade launched."Sad is like happiness for deep people".

I’m not a big fan of the Dragon Age games - or at least I bounced of Origins hard and that’s apparently the best of the bunch.Dragon Age Veilguard, for a recent example.
I’m not really a console gamer and the few jRPGs I’ve played were really not my thing. I do like me some tactical turn-based combat so I’ve wondered if some of the “Tactics” titles might suit better. But then I’ll probably complain about the thin plot and art style. Many Final Fantasy games but especially FFVII, FFIX, FFX, FFXII.
The first Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the best written stories in the entire Final Fantasy series and one of the best ever in a video game, period. Its recent remaster, The Ivalice Chronicles, is also the best way to play that game.I do like me some tactical turn-based combat so I’ve wondered if some of the “Tactics” titles might suit better.
