If I lived up in the PNW, I would not shut up about orcas. So cool and what great branding.

I think I have one of the Orca cards you use to pay for public transit in Seattle laying around somewhere.

Anyway, I just want to make it known I have added Atlanta and Memphis to the list.

Corvallis, Oregon, has C3 Con, which is hybrid board, RPG, and anime/manga fandom, but is leaning more to RPG each time. Cheap, too... April 11-12 this year. Small, but fun. Run by the Covallis Community Center.

Just A Game Con may resurrect this year, too - it died during lockdown. Also in corvallis; used to be spring and fall, probably be fall only.

PAGE, the Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo, is good. I've been to two of the three they've held. It keeps getting bigger and better.

But it's also notably not at the Philly Convention Center downtown. It's in Oaks, PA, a decent distance from city center. This makes it really nice for people who drive in, as hotels, food, etc are much cheaper. But it means you've got an extra leg of travel if you're flying in.

I gotta say, Oregon seems like a pretty great place to be a gamer, given the density of game stores, cons large and small, the proximity to Washington, the Oregon Renaissance Festival, etc.
