Just got my stuff.
(Minus the coin I was supposed to get for paying $1 to Backerkit before the campaign began, but I think I may have made a pledge, downshifted to a $1 a la carte pledge to delay the hit to my credit card and that probably decoupled my pledge from that original $1 payment. I don't really care; I wouldn't do anything with the obol anyway and I'm happy to just count that as a tip for Limithron.)
The books -- all standard versions -- are beautiful. Textured covers, spot gloss, wonderful textured paper, useful layout as always.
The starter set, which is pretty beefy, has look-up tables printed on the inside of the box covers, making them work like a starter set screen. Trapped in the Tropics is a very long adventure -- significantly longer than Buried in the Bahamas, from what I can see -- and appears to teach the GM the rules as they go, and the boxed set otherwise just includes the stripped-down players guide with only the rules the players need. That said, in Borg games, players roll most of the dice anyway, so that probably covers most of the rules of the game. The full rulebook mostly just adds generators, more enemies and the Curse of Skeleton Point sandbox adventure setting.
Looking forward to digging into these and especially running them soon.
