We saw this trailer before PHM. This film looks terrible. By which I mean, it looks visually terrible. The plot seems...well, let's just say it's not for me. I hope the fans love it.

Generally I do not like it when they mess with the canon in a fundamental way and Adam growing up on Earth is definitely that. But it definitely looks pretty enough to give it a fair shot.

We never actually see Adams childhood in the cartoons, so who is to say what the preteen Adam was doing? Queen Marlena Glenn is an Earth Woman by canon, so having Adam Glenn grow up on Earth isnt that much of a stretch

That doesn't really work. OG Adam knew very little about Earth. In the show he learned about Xmas as an adult. In the movie it was clearly his first time there. So it is changing canon.

Then again, the original He-man also had the power to break the fourth wall and talk directly to the audience. And Man-E-Faces getting stuck between his human and monster forms somehow turned him into a robot. And there's a character named Broom that's literally a sentient broom. And no one ever gets killed in battle. So, y'know, canon is what canon is.

If I remember, she traveled to Eternia by spaceship, and Adam is born and raised on Eternia.

yes she travelled by spaceship through a vortex. Nonetheless in Visitors from Earth, two more 'Earth creatures' arrive and after their ship is repaired, it manages to make a return trip between Eternia and Earth orbit (and He-Man manages to breath in space).
We also know that Orko can open portals so its also possible he achieved a portal to Earth at some point.

I really just want a spin-off series with Alison Brie strutting around as a sassy evil sorceress. Make it a real estate show looking at all of the wild snake- and skull-shaped castles or something.

Preferably with similar ::ahem:: vibe to her GLOW work...

I am now picturing her getting the Harley Quinn treatment with a sassy adult black comedy. Perhaps bring in GI Joe's The Baroness as the Poison Ivy character (the platonic portion or otherwise, depending on how much they lean into the fanservice). Certainly the other MotU villains make good inept goons that would love to be doing everything but the evil scheme.

I still think Kevin Smith's 'Masters of the Universe: Revelation' is my favorite MotU product. I mean, my mind was blown when they addressed Prince Adam being able to summon the power of Greyskull WITHOUT the sword.
