D&D 5E (2024) Divination (4th lvl Spell). Is Karsus Alive?

I would say no, but I remember him being a vestige in one of the 3.5 magic books, Tome of Magic maybe?

However, I do think it would be a cool adventure or even campaign having him regain life/unlife. I might need to brainstorm that one...

There a man on my campaign uses spellfire.

Thinking the players find an old statue it might bear a resemblance.

No. He's 100 million percent dead in my campaign. If there is any spirit the gods(especially magic and death) would conspire to keep from being raised, it's his. It would take a greater god to bring him back in my game, and none would do it.

One PC worships Jergal. I dont think his spirit ever got judged.

That's his campaign. Spellfire comes from Mystra and there's no Karsus weave. There is the weave, and there is the dark weave.
