you can choke it to death or drown it , if you planned it well enough it's not that hard... get it down to unconcious due to subdual and then have someone keep it there with weapons and then choke it with a big chain or something.

a few things, making it auto crit is way too powerful... Free crits should never be handed out. second you cant ready actions before combat and you cant use a partial action to ready an action. Ambushes are deadly enough already with everyone being flatfooted and opponents being able to get...

well that would all be house rules as you never lose your bonuses to save for any reason. even unconcious people get a will save at no penalty.

lol i did address it, i heard that it never came up ever... except epic leves well there's an example at alot lower than epic. I can make a 3rd level mage who's saves in his chosen school require a 21 to save.... things without a +1 bonus in that save shouldnt be able to make it. my point is...

and therein lies the difference cleave has 1 preq feat a min strength requirement. a small difference between it and spring atack and in that campaign you mention a dm gave feats away for free.... I've had characters use great cleave to kill 9+ creatures in one round nevermind a whole...

the only difference would be the rogue would add his sneak atack damage i beleive.

lol evasion isnt a feat, and by your pricing this would be an epic item..... it's give you a moderately useful feat no more powerful than the sword of cleaving. I'd use that as a base example.

take your first level fighter with fullplate and a large sheild and a +1 dex bonus fighting defensively.... his ac is 23... why in gods name should a kobold be able to kill him with a stick on a lucky roll. The same goes as levels progress if you build a character with one great strength it's...

i like the dropping it onto things option.... dont have +x weapons to penetrate dr... use a horse as an LBO to drop it on something from the top of a cliff.

there are some times where there can be no chance of failure or success. I found this becomes more true in epic play where characters shouldnt be able to be hurt by pithy little spells and magics.... the same way the epic rules recommend getting rid of the massive damage rules Hell my epic...
