I have updated the link in the 1st post with the latest version. The biggest thing missing are stats for terran and protoss vehicles. I got a fair number of terran and zerg units for low-level games. I only got a zealot made as NPC for protoss but making more is just like creating any NPC from...
Seems he is even worse then me in finish what he started :D
And I came here to complain how he didn't take into effect that SW world dislikes armors and none of the important character wears armors.
That is why armors seem bad in SWSE.
But for D&D armor is a standard and the mechanics around...
Let me just bump this a bit. I have not made much progress with this (RL and other stuff got in the way). Had one test session with my D&D/SW group, looked good.
Well, hopefully some new (as in, didn't see this topic when I originally opened it) board members can take a look at this and maybe...
You weakened Flurry of Blows for one. That is the biggest combat difference.
Then the Pathfinder monk has the Ki Pool abilities which is a great idea and great mechanics. Your Monk also has lower AC without equipment (and monks in 3.5e already suffer from lower AC then fighters at lower levels)...
D&D characters are their equipment. This is standard. At high levels it is cheaper/easier to die then lose your equipment.
See above. You cannot compare classes without equipment, not even same ones. For instance, a two-weapon fighter depends on a elemental weapon enchantments to do any damage...
I think that is a good move. First let them bring out improved pre-Epic rules, and then they (and we on their boards) can spend another year coming out with better Epic rules. If they spent time doing Epic rules now, you would probably get something as bad as WotC version.
First look at lvl 5 3.5e monk shows you forgot to put lvl 4 ability boost into Dex to make it 16. So his attack and AC is one less.
As for higher levels, I haven't looked at it yet but without equipment there is not real comparison. Especially if you removed Wis as being an important stat for...
I do not know what game you played but monks were not pretty powerful.
At lower levels they are weaker then fighters and at high levels although they can withstand magical attacks better then fighters their attacks and hits are weaker. And their critical is always crap.
They also have a real...
I tried to comment on the site but it said I do not have permission.
I looked at the Monk and I must say when compared to 3.5e and especially Pathfinder your version is really bad. It is even worse then the 3.5e.
You made a weak class even weaker.
I haven't read much so far but I noticed you gave the Nobles same characteristics are Nobles in SWSE. I do not think that is good for medieval S&S setting.
Nobles of those times were usually as good a warrior as any commoner soldier if not better. Giving them weak bab and d6 HD is not...
Well I did mention Official boards, and I do spend some short time there almost every day.
This is not same as Daredevil. Daredevil does not use the Force, he has Blindsight to borrow the term from D&D. Blindsight is not the same as Force Sense Surroundings.
The OP didn't ask what the GMs...
