    I get that, but think that spell level access is still there via Mystic Arcanum. Really, start by comparing vs other half-casters and acknowledge that high level spells are available if you want.

    I’m pretty good with the half caster plus mystic arcanum for higher slots. Wasn’t into exploiting the short rest slot recovery. Doesn’t feel like any sort of nerf when viewed from a daily, long rest perspective.

    It’s racist in the sense of expecting all members of a race to conform to the character’s view of a cultural role for that race. “Bigoted” may be the less inflammatory term.

    Re-skin magic. Warlock short-rest chassis, using spell points. Poach some sorcerer metamagic. Can have different Discipline "pacts". Lots of room for invocations to complement.

    Agree, just the two flurry attacks at 11th level. Amusingly, at 11th the monk heals more per ki in combat than out of combat.

    The mercy monk can only heal once per round. The healing replaces one of the two flurry attacks, not all attacks.
