I agree totally with you. The proliferation of boring non-campaign specific splatbooks is one thing I have grown to dislike about D&D. It wouldn't be so bad if they also produced lots of campaign and adventure material for DM's in tandem but they have been effectively replaced by these...

I am very interested. I can do the time difference and play for any amount of time but do we need to speak or can we use text over skype? That would be preferable for me.

The Wire is one of my favourites. I did have to persevere for the first half of the first series until it really kicks off. The characters are brilliant. Bubbles is ace.

As a DM I definitely saw the advantages of 4E for NPC and encounter creation. I will be taking a lot of 4E baggage with me when I start my own pathfinder adventures. Hopefully running WOTBS will keep that day at bay for a long time. ;)
