Really got into the YouTube channel "Me, Myself and Die" last year and do want to try out solo play. Seems like a fun challenge and outlet for creativity.
Like a few people in here have said, I like the idea of being able to throw something together real quick when I have some free time.
Nothing I would like more than to play in person, but with three little kids my schedule doesn't really open up until 8pm and their aren't many people hosting live games at that hour. BUT I can jump online and get in PST games that start 5 or 6 PST which is great for me on EST.
I haven't seen any of the new core rulebooks at the mainstream stores. I feel like for a while I saw a lot of DnD books at Target but I was just there today and took a peek and they don't have any TTRPG stuff to be found anymore.
