With the help of turnip I have fixed this problem. My Thanks! :)
The latest version of 4eTurnTracker now also runs on Mac OS X 10.4 (and PowerPC machines).

Hmmm, "Bus error" means the program crashed :erm:. So there should be a "crash log".
Check the directory 'Library/Logs/CrashReporter', which you will find in your home directory.
There you should find a number of files called 4eTurnTracker*.crash.
Please send me the most recent of these...
No not you :), your Mac is using a different "shell" to mine, so we need to use a different command.
Please try this:
cd /Applications
export DYLD_PRINT_LIBRARIES=1

Hi turnip!
Sad bunnies make me cry! :.-(
I am the programmer of 4eTurnTracker, and I would really like to find out why it does not run on your Mac. Firstly, do you have a PPC based Mac? TT currently only runs on Intel machines.
Another problem may be 10.4.

I have just released a new version of 4eTurnTracker. :)
The most important addition to the program is a "Monster Manager" Window, but the release also includes a number of changes suggested on this thread.
The Monster Manager Window is used to create Monsters and Encounters. Monsters can be...

So the programs are in 2 completely different worlds :erm:.
But, ren1999, why don't you check it out for yourself? ... 4eTurnTracker Download :)
Interesting idea. But the Effects dialog is already quite cluttered so I would add it as an additional option.
The program is written in C++ using Qt, so porting to Linux would be easy.

In the Apply Conditions and Effects dialog, Healing group, you indicate how many healing surges are to be used, and the total HP you gain. When you change the number number of HS used, the number of regained HP is set to a...
4eTurnTracker auto-saves every step of combat as it happens. After restart it restores the entire history.
BTW: The history persists until it is explicitly cleared or until you change Data folders.
Yup, especially as the levels go up! My aim with TT is to track the most important stuff with as few clicks as possible.
Excellent! I am very interested in feedback, especially from test play. And I would like to keep the discussion public.
Since these posts will eventually be lost under the...
