I'm not sure you will get an unlock code from Forged Anvil, and I may use your ingenious work around for my own characters, but it might be a simple fix as well. Forged Anvil could the items carried in a backpack all default to zero weight if the backpack is "dropped" by changing the backpacks...

In keeping with the monk theme, I think there is a glitch with the "Monastic Tradition Feature (Disciple of the Elements) -Elemental Disciplines" I attached a screenshot. I didn't have issues in some earlier versions, so I think you have the data there, it's just not connected somehow. Still...
